Curious about brainspotting? Here's a short video to learn more of how it can be effective for treating symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, etc

Introduction to Brainspotting

Brainspotting is an advanced neurobiological tool used to access, process, and overcome trauma, negative emotions, and pain. For adults undergoing trauma treatment, weekly sessions that last between 60-90 minutes are typically scheduled, ensuring focused and consistent therapeutic intervention.

The Intensive Option

For those who might benefit from a more immersive therapeutic experience, there's the option of booking an Intensive, which entails longer sessions exceeding 4 hours. These Intensives are punctuated by short breaks, allowing clients to process and rest intermittently. This mode can be particularly beneficial for individuals seeking deep therapeutic work within a shorter time frame.

Preliminary Steps: Intake and Assessment

Before embarking on Brainspotting or any trauma treatment, an Intake and Initial Assessment is mandatory. This initial step allows the therapist to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's background, current challenges, and therapeutic needs. The assessment will also guide the therapist in determining the most appropriate length and frequency of the treatment tailored to the client's unique circumstances.

Telehealth and In-Person Sessions

Currently, Brainspotting & Trauma Treatment services are offered exclusively via Telehealth, ensuring that clients can access this specialized therapy from the comfort of their own space. However, for clients who prefer face-to-face sessions, in-person options are on the horizon and will be made available soon.
